At Apothecary, our Skin Care Specialists specialize in the effective treatment of prematurely aged skin, acne, and skin pigmentation disorders. Our clinicians each have extensive backgrounds that include years of intense training covering detailed anatomy, pathology, microbiology, and chemistry. They assist with pre-operative skin care preparation, post-operative skin recovery and provide make-up consultations as well as ongoing skin rejuvenation.
During your appointment, you will be asked to fill out a detailed form specifying your health habits, current skin-care methods and cosmetic objectives. We provide a free face-to-face consultation with one of our Aestheticians to discuss a specialized, custom treatment plan to help you reach your goals. We offer personalized pampering, including hand, neck and décolletage massage, careful cleansing, steaming, exfoliating and some of the gentlest extractions you will ever experience. Afterwards, you will receive a complimentary mineral foundation application. Our foundations provide broad-spectrum sun protection and nourish the skin using the highest quality ingredients.

Chemical peels remove damaged outer layers of skin on the face to smooth texture, reduce scarring, and remove blemishes and pre-cancerous growths to produce healthy, glowing skin. Peel formulas and strengths are tailored to each patient. Peels can be combined with other procedures such as facelifts for a younger look.

Microdermabrasion improves mild to moderate sun damage, scarring, wrinkles and other superficial skin problems. A gentle stream of tiny particles exfoliates the outer layer of skin and provides a fresh, glowing, younger appearance. The particles scrape away the surface layer of aging or damaged skin, which is then brushed off with the microdermabrasion vacuum tool with no need for anesthesia. Only a small amount of skin is removed, so sensitive areas such as the face, chest, neck, arms and hands can be treated. Results are comparable to a light chemical peel and should be immediately visible. Microdermabrasion is often performed in conjunction with other skin renewal procedures, such as laser treatment and chemical peels. Multiple treatments are recommended for full effect.

Radiesse™ is a synthetic injectable filler that reduces wrinkles, creases and scars by augmenting the body’s natural collagen supply. Composed of microspheres in a biocompatible gel, Radiesse is made from the same minerals found in our bones, so it carries little risk of allergic reaction. Radiesse can be used on many areas of the body, including nasolabial folds, peri-oral lines, depressed scars and oral commissures. Treatments typically take 15 minutes and require only local anesthetic. Results are visible immediately after the injection and can last for months or years, although the procedure can be repeated as often as you wish.

Rhinoplasty or nose surgery is performed to reshape, reduce or augment a person’s nose, remove a hump, narrow nostril width, change the angle between the nose and the mouth, or to correct injury, birth defects, or other problems that affect breathing. Rhinoplasty is usually an outpatient procedure performed under either local or general anesthesia and lasts one to two hours.

Blepharoplasty or eyelid surgery can rejuvenate puffy, sagging or tired-looking eyes by removing excess fat, skin and muscle from the upper and lower eyelids. It may be performed for cosmetic reasons or to improve sight by lifting droopy eyelids out of the patient's field of vision. The procedure is usually performed in an office with local anesthesia in as little as 45 minutes. Blepharoplasty can be combined with a facelift or BOTOX® treatments to raise the eyebrows or reduce the appearance of wrinkles, crow's feet or dark circles under the eyes.
